When the phone is answereed by a recording that starts out by;
"YOU HAVE REACHED THE ARLINGTON COUNTY VOICE MAIL SYSTEM...ETC"

Dial 9407

You can do this while the voice of the recording is still going on. You do not have to wait for it to finish. After you have dialed 9407, there is nothing else to do except listen. If you have called and heard the first message and have not heard the second and so forth messages, you can hit the "#" sign on your telephone and it will skip this message and go on to the next one. After you have reached the end of the messages it will tell you "Goodbye".

Dial 9408

You can do this while the voice of the recording is still going on. You do not have to wait for it to finish. After you have dialed 9408, you will hear my announcement and then a voice saying:

"AT THE TONE PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE AND AT THE END OF YOUR MESSAGE HIT THE "#" SIGN."

Then it will direct you to dial a "1" for more options and will direct you further if needed.

If you make a mistake while recording your message, hit the "*" button and you will start over again.

EXTRA OPTIONS

Press 1 - to back up message
Press 2 - for pause or restart
Press 3 - to go forward
Press 4 - tape speed will slow
Press 6 - tape speed will increase
Press 8 - for normal volume
Press 9 - to increase volume
Press # - to skip message
